Burmese, Thai and Vietnamese Recipes

I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t like Thai and Vietnamese food. Have you? Well, perhaps my mother-in-law! I’m a huge fan. Having been to both countries on numerous occasions, and coming from Singapore, I’ve had the pleasure of eating the real stuff many times over!

I’ve also had the opportunity to teach Thai cooking in Thailand on a few occasions, along with a few locals. Some of my friends ran a dive shop, and I would teach cooking classes as part of their package deal, in exchange for free dives. Win-win!

So Thai cooking is something I’m extremely familiar with, although one never stops learning, as the food of the north is a little different from that of the south.

I’m taking a bit of a break from posting these recipes on LinsFood, as I’ve had to focus on a few other cuisines based on the classes I teach. But hopefully, one day, I’ll get back to adding more recipes here.

I’ve also started a brand new food blog (Jan 2021) called Singaporean and Malaysian Recipes, so that’s taking up a bit of my time too!
