Burritos are basically flour tortillas that are filled and rolled up and eaten as they are with usually a side serving of tomato salsa. They can be fried after being filled, at that point, they’re called Chivichangas.

I get all my Mexican produce from www.MexGrocer.com. They’re fantastic – friendly and fast!

 

Ingredients (makes 8 burritos)

8 flour tortillas

1 portion of Carne De Res con Col

100g or so of shredded cheddar

soured cream or creme fraiche

tomato salsa

thin slices of avocado

shredded lettuce

 

Method 

The idea is everyone fills their own tortillas up with whichever filling they fancy.
